While traveling to LA from AL on an animal rescue transport I was routed to this platform for a room. That's when the trouble started. They ran my card, sent an email stating such then a second email indicating my reservations wasn't yet confirmed. To be expecting a forthcoming email from them confirming in minutes. An hour later. Nothing. So I send an email. They say wait. After 3 hours and only 2 hours from my destination I call the hotel myself... Only to find there's no reservations, they're booked and they've never heard of splitty. So I call Splitty to be told they needed to wait further to hear from hotel. To which I replied "Call them"! Like I did. Finally they agreed to refund me leaving me less $150 plus dollars for days. Never even asking/offering or otherwise attempting to help me find new accommodations elsewhere. Don't bother. Stick to Priceline, Trivago or the other reliable platforms. Save the hassle.
